Annual Meeting – November
With a quorum (133 homes), the Annual Meeting is when new board officers are proposed and elected.
All current board officers terms are ending at this meeting; a new board must be identified and elected. The HOA will go into receivership without a board. Click here to read more about receivership, which will result in exponentially increased homeowner costs.
Without a quorum, an election can’t be held. Attend the meeting in person, or sign and return a proxy, which will allow a quorum to be formed if there is enough participation. Proxies were sent to homeowners the week of October 12.
Return your proxy to Frank DeNike, Sentry Management property manager.

Consider running for a board position or participating in a committee. There are only a few people now running the board and the HOA activities, and most perform multiple responsibilities. There will be fewer still when the current board is dissolved.
A Sheriff’s representative will speak and answer questions, regardless of whether or not a quorum is achieved. Light refreshments will also be served.
Tuesday, November 10
Doors open for homeowner registration at 6:00 PM
Meeting time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Location:
St. Vincent de Paul Meeting Room

The meeting room is in a building behind the church.

UPDATED: Water Restrictions from
Pasco County SWFTMD
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFTMD) Governing Board voted on September 22nd to extend the Modified Phase III “Extreme” Water Shortage through March 31, 2027, due to ongoing drought conditions throughout the region.
This continues the restrictions of pond fountains to four hours a day. The regular hours of operation can be selected by the owner but must be posted.
As a reminder, these regulations strictly limit the operation of aesthetic fountains to a maximum of four (4) hours per day. The fountains in Gulf Trace will operate between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM to take advantage of the lights.

New Sentry ClickPay Fee
From Sentry Management:
“The ACH fee of $2.95 is being imposed by ClickPay, not Sentry, starting on June 1st. We are shocked as you are hearing this unfortunate news. We know this could affect most people.
We recommend using your bank “Bill Pay” service to avoid this expense, which we do have many homeowners using this method to pay and did not sign up ClickPay. Please note ClickPay is an optional service.”
How can you pay your dues without the ClickPay fee? Sentry has 6 different payment methods outlined in their 6 Easy Ways to Pay document, which you can find on the Management Contact page.
The first three methods listed are all administered by ClickPay, so the $2.95 fee will apply to them.
The last three methods, listed below, do not incur the ClickPay fee and are free. Note that your individual financial institution may charge a fee for bill pay, though most banks and credit unions do not charge for that service. Check with your individual bank if you choose this method.
Mail: If you prefer to Pay by Mail, include your 16-digit account number to ensure accurate application and mail your check to:
-
- Payment Processing Center
- PO Box 30437
- Tampa, FL 33630
You may include payment coupons if you have them. There will be no coupons starting in 2027.
Bill Pay: You can send payment using your own bank bill pay service. Gulf Trace HOA needs to be identified as the payee. Please be sure to indicate your 16-digit account number. Send it to:
-
- Payment Processing Center
- PO Box 30437
- Tampa, FL 33630
In Person: If you prefer to pay in person, you can visit your local Sentry Management office. Checks are the only payment method accepted in person. The local Sentry office is at:
